CENTREVILLE – Employers will have the opportunity to learn about changes in the Family Medical Leave Act at a breakfast meeting on June 10. Hosted by the Human Resource Council of St. Joseph County, the event will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Dresser Business Development Center at Glen Oaks Community College.
The seminar will be presented by Joe Haas, Partner with Dresser, Dresser, Haas & Caywood, P.C., in Sturgis. Mr. Haas will provide an overview and history about the Act, disputes from which are said to be among the top five issues that land companies in the courtroom. He will also answer questions about recent legislation that has made it more complex.
