August 12 HR Council Program Focuses on Meth Awareness

CENTREVILLE – Sally Mayne of the Community Healing Center will educate employers on the effects of Meth in the workplace, home and community at the August 12 St. Joseph County Human Resources Council meeting. The event will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Dresser Business Development Center at Glen Oaks Community College.

Mayne became the Meth/Substance Abuse Coordinator two years ago and will address how the Meth issue is being addressed in St. Joseph County. She holds a B.A. in Human Resources Management and has attended certified training for Meth:  Assessment, Intervention & Treatment as well as participating with ongoing trainings related to Substance Abuse Prevention.

The Human Resource Council of St. Joseph County is one of four councils which operate under the umbrella of the St. Joseph County Economic Development Corporation.
