COBRA, HIPAA regulstiond in spotlight at seminar Aug. 1
CENTREVILLE - The St. Joseph County Economic Development Corporation invite the public to come hear the latest developments in the often complex regulations of COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). The seminar will be held Tuesday, Aug. 8 from 7:30-9 a.m. (doors open at 7:15 a.m.) at Glen Oaks Community College Business Development Center, 62449 Shimmel Road, Centreville.
Speaker Dan Taylor is the National Sales Manager for Infinisource. He is well versed in employee benefit administration and compliance issues. Dan has conducted hundreds of training sessions for both Human Resource and Insurance professionals. He has also written articles for several publications, including Insurance Marketing, Agent's Sales Journal and Infinisource's Legislative Review.
Cost is $5 per person, a continental breakfast will be available.
