Sisson appointed to St. Joseph County EDC board president
January 20, 2005 - CENTREVILLE - Robert C. Sisson of First National Bank of Three Rivers was appointed to the presidential helm of the St. Joseph County Economic Development Corporation board of directors at the January 20 board meeting. Sisson takes over for outgoing president, Barry Visel of Indiana Michigan Power. "I look forward to contributing to the efforts making the EDC a major force in the continual economic growth of this County," Sisson said. "Our top focus will be in counseling, retaining and growing the existing manufacturers and businesses in this County." Sisson is Senior Vice President and Loan Administrator at First National Bank of Three Rivers. He has over 20 years of commercial banking experience and was named Michigan’s Small Business Advocate of the Year. He has also published the book, "Financing the Small Business." Sisson commended Visel for his efforts and guidance during his two-year term and presented him with a recognition plaque.
