STURGIS – Human resource professionals can participate in an open forum roundtable discussion on October 11. Hosted by the Human Resource Council of St. Joseph County, the event will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at LTI Printing, 518 N. Centerville Road, in Sturgis.

“Whether you work as an Office Manager, General Manager, own your own business or work in some other role with human resources issues, you can benefit from this session,” said Andy Boyd, president of the HR Council and Human Resources Manager at Burr Oak Tool & Gauge Company, Inc. in Sturgis. “This month’s topics may range from the new Medicare Part D to attendance policies and point systems to drug testing and safety incentive programs.”

The Human Resource Council of St. Joseph County is one of four councils which operate under the umbrella of the St. Joseph County Economic Development Corporation.
