HSA seminar scheduled for August 9
CENTREVILLE – Employers will have the opportunity to learn about the new Health Savings Accounts at a seminar on August 9. Hosted by the Human Resource Council of St. Joseph County, the event will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Business Development Center at Glen Oaks Community College.
“President Bush has promoted Health Savings Accounts as a way to save on the rising cost of business health insurance plans,” said Andrew Boyd, president of the HR Council and Human Resources Manager at Kadant Johnson, Inc. in Three Rivers. “But, employers need to ask questions and find out if HSAs are the right solution for their organization. This seminar is the place to do that.”
The seminar will be presented by Jeff Rubleski, benefits expert and sales team leader at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan. Mr. Rubleski is knowledgeable about Health Savings Accounts and Medical Savings Accounts. He has an MBA from Grand Valley State University and serves in the Grand Valley State University Finance Department as an adjunct instructor.
There will be a $5 per person fee and this includes a continental breakfast. Those interested in attending may call the Kadant Johnson Human Resources Department at (269) 273-3076, ext. 2229 or send an e-mail to humanresources@kadantjohnson.com.
